1. How can we engage Trelity? How are fees structured?
It always starts with an Intro Call, but once we dive into the project details we generally propose one of these three engagement options:
Lump Sum Fee for defined scope
Dedicated remote team, monthly or for project term
Time and Materials with NTE cap
2. What is your quality control process?
Since our inception in 2019, we’ve had an “Always Second Check” policy. Each project we deliver is also checked by a second pair of eyes according to the delivery scope by someone that did not work on that project. We’ve found that a fresh set of eyes is essential and controlling each others work part of a healthy culture that deeply values real quality.
Alongside this, we have a 3-year Rapid Development program for our staff where we intentionally train on topics like US code review, ADA, life safety, and many more topics. We’ve also developed strategic partnerships with top American universities that help in the refinement of this program.
3. How will we communicate with the Trelity team?
Each project has a single point of contact who acts as the home base for all project communication. We have collected the very best people (most important) and English-proficient architects and engineers in our country that are dedicated to providing a flexible and collaborative communication experience.
We adapt to the preferences of each client and Project Manager we work with. Normally we use a mix of MS Teams chats, Teams Meetings, Bluebeam Sessions and of course, email. Ask any client and 100% of them will tell you they find us very easy to communicate with.
4. Is Trelity an American company? Is it insured?
Trelity Inc. is a 100% American owned and managed corporation with a wholly-owned global operations center in the Aegean region of Turkey. We have an amazing team of 50+ architects and engineers. Our founders, John and Jennifer Mickey are located with our global team in Turkey. We are also fully insured with General, Professional and Umbrella coverage up to $5M.
5. Are US licensed professionals involved?
We are a diverse team that includes US licensed professionals (Registered Architects & Professional Engineers) co-located with our team in Turkey.
To our knowledge, we are the only global productivity partner serving American design firms to have this and it is absolutely a part of our secret sauce.
6. How do you handle data-privacy and security?
We work with a cyber-security consultant based in Michigan that has helped us reach a level of compliance that meets the expectations of most global firms. Our company’s cloud is hosted via MS Azure servers located in the eastern US and via Autodesk Construction Cloud. We train our staff on important cyber-security awareness issues, maintain tight local controls.
